Velvet Orchid by Tom Ford is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Emerging after the success of the seductive Black Orchid from 2006, the new edition of Velvet Orchid has evolved into a audaciously floral and ultra-feminine scent.
The top notes are honey and rum combined with crisp bergamot and mandarin. In the floral heart we find the distinctive black orchid along with wild orchid, Turkish rose, hyacinth, heliotrope and orange blossom. Notes of suede, myrrh, sandalwood, Peru balsam and vanilla in the base give the elegant scent warmth.
Velvet Orchid comes in a stylish deep purple bottle with gold details. It was launched in 2014.
